Ron Allchin, Producer
Ron August Allchin began in the advertising side of motion picture production in 1997. He coordinated and managed logistics and budgets for the production of various national commercial campaigns for Budweiser, Carl’s Jr, Chevrolet, Comcast, L’Oreal, T-Mobile and many others. In 2007, Ron and his wife Dolores moved to Europe and founded a coffee importing roasting and retail company, Three Bean Coffee Co., where Ron enjoyed his role and the privilege of managing a team of 17 people. In 2010, Ron transitioned from advertising into narrative filmmaking and joined the producing team with Kinema Commonwealth (KC) founders Matt Webb and Matt Barber on the feature film Not That Funny. In 2011, Ron joined the producing team on the features Praying The Hours and Regarding The Holidays. He’s also produced many short films including The Return & Stop Traffick. Ron also enjoys serving as Chair on the Board of Directors for Ecclesia, a church in Hollywood. Although Ron’s 1st passion is his family (wife Dolores, daughter Olivia, son William) he also enjoys the art of good coffee, traveling to interesting places, sharing life together in community. Ron is the producer in charge of production management on the Praying the Hours project.
