Filmmaker Brandon Lippard is an award-winning cinematographer who studied film at Victoria Motion Picture School and makes his home in Los Angeles, California. He describes himself as having “a passion for adventure” that has taken him on shoots from the jungles of Thailand and Cambodia, to slums in Africa, to the River Thames in London. His unique repertoire speaks to his innovative style and out-of-the-box creativity. Brandon is on the forefront of a new wave of DP’s and operators shooting with the RED ONE digital cinema camera and with Light Iron Post. He consults on new technology on both shoots and panels as an expert in the field. Making his living shooting commercials (Doritos, T-Mobile, Earthday), features (Not That Funny, To Save A Life, Bounty), shorts (Butterfly Circus, Up in the Air), web series (CTRL, The Sarah Silverman Show), music videos (Switchfoot, Katie Perry, Martha Munizzi), and documentaries (Plight of the Fisherman, SOLD, Project Cambodia), it was his first feature project as DP with Burning Heart director Lauralee Farrer—Not That Funny—that prompted this current collaboration. Several times festival winner of the demanding film contest 168 Film Festival, Brandon has also several times won the Doritos commercial contest, once gaining coveted Super Bowl coverage. IMDB
