Cinematographer and still photographer
Jordan McMahon has been involved in the current project from its new start, providing us with our first still images that so elegantly populate these webpages. Quiet and thoughtful with an artist’s eye, Jordan often works alone or with just the actor to find authentic moments that can be overwhelmed by the harsh realities of a full production crew. We have come to rely on Jordan’s second unit work as providing the ambience so vital to portraying honest stories.
Jordan is a cinematographer with credits on Burning Heart Productions feature documentary The Fair Trade, feature narrative Not That Funny and is currently in preproduction as one of the cinematographers for Praying the Hours. McMahon received his degree in Film & Television from California State University of Los Angeles and has spent the last few years making promotional videos for non-profit organizations such as, The Foundation for Living Beauty, Model United Nations of Pasadena, The Children’s Nature Institute, 1Sky.org and others. McMahon is also a one-on-one caregiver for special needs adults at Villa Esperanza and T.O.T.A.L. Programs.
